lyrics

Grey clouds misty wings above the earth
Cold December’s freezing atrophy.
Evening browns and greens of summers gone
Left to blanket winter’s nearing dawn.
She walks the hills and frozen waterways
Wrapped in melodrama’s clothes of gray
Pensive lows and dreams of flowered glens
Dying in the lowered steel gray sky.
After Nebulae of rain that could be stars
Showers from Andromeda chained by the sea
Perseus unleashes meteors of snow
Breaking bonds of galaxies
Walking on the frozen seas
Swiftly streaming through the clouds
From the past before the rains had come
She wandered heaven’s skies beyond the sun.
Perseus was wandering near and far
Making snows to shower in her hair.
Back to evening’s hot insouciance,
Outside the snow is blotting out the moon.
Andromeda sits with Perseus,
Dreaming of the seas of empty space.
After Nebulae of rain that could be stars
Showers from Andromeda chained by the sea
Perseus unleashed his meteors of snow
Breaking bonds of galaxies
Walking on the frozen seas
Climbing high she drifts along
Swiftly streaming through the clouds
